Plug Connection: Spring Trials SoCal Summit 2013
Details of the 10-Exhibitor Event Released
(11/17/12) -- SoCal Summit 2013 is shaping up to be our most exciting pack trials yet with ten exhibitors offering a 'one-stop-shop'.
Plug Connection will be highlighting Mighty 'Mato, Certified Organic edible options, Mesa Magic Cyclamen, Tessera Succulent Collection, introducing a new disease-resistant organic basil program, showcasing offerings from Cultivaris, Syngenta, Sakata, Selecta, Dummen, Suntory, and Terra Nova.
This year's vegetative comparison trial will include more than 150 hanging baskets featuring designer mix programs including Confetti, Trixi, Kwik Combos, and MixMasters. Our comprehensive seed comparison trials will show the newest varieties being introduced grown next to existing benchmark varieties. Knowledge is power here and we are going to be overflowing with cool stuff.
Exhibitors include:
- Suntory Flowers, featuring 30+ new varieties: Sun Parasol, Crackling Fire Begonia, and Sunrosa Roses plus classic lines.
- Terra Nova will display best-selling varieties and reveal 30+ new products all available thru the nroker network.
- EuroAmerican will present new Proven Winners, Proven Selections, Savvy Succulents and Senetti with a focus on Grower Ready Liners: EuroMazing and Trifecta Multiliners.
- Cultivaris will increase its footprint with a much larger display of their 200+ commercial varieties -- 30+ new varieties.
- Geranium breeding company pac-Elsner will include an expanded indoor display, outdoor container specimens of both Candy Flowers and Aristo varieties.
- Beekenkamp, a European Begonia Powerhouse and Herb specialist will showcase best-selling varieties and five new varieties for the North American market.
- Westhoff will show new breeding in Lobelia, Calibrachoa and Crazytunia Petunia.
- Schoneveld Cyclamen - this Dutch breeder is known for top-notch cyclamen genetics, they will be making a splash of introductions along with a lineup of their current collection.
- Morel Cyclamen - a leader in cyclamen breeding, this French based company will introduce fourteen new cyclamen varieties and showcase their existing collection.
For planning purposes, we recommend scheduling a minimum of four hours:
